what would be a good set of upgraded metal cv's for a old t-maxx with rpm wide arms for a 2.5r, would revo work.

I would DEFINITELY recommend MIP CVD's. There's a reason why they are the industry leader. You get what you pay for [as cliche as that sounds]

unlimited engineering cvds. pretty much unbreakable, but hefty price tag.
