Need some help. Just put a Axial .32 in my LST. I get the truck to idle but as soon as I put the truck on the ground it stalls. To me this sounds like the slipper nut. I loosen the nut and it's fine, but the truck will not take off correctly. Could my problem be with the springs on the clutch? I have never had a problem with a clutch so I don't know what signs to look for. Any help would be great.

Yes, your clutch is engaging too soon. Replacing the springs and shoes (if necessary) should fix the problem.

Your idle might be to high, or your clutch springs broke, or your clutch bearings seized.........

Loosening a slipper is not the resolution. You don't need to remove the engine either to fix this. Just remove the 2 speed spurs then still a allen key down the carb to jam the engine, and loosen the front crank screw then u can see the clutch, and see if the bearings are bad, or you can just remove the engine. Whatever you like.
