Those might be his "lucky shorts."

For Saturday, he could even be wearing the same underwear as last year.

Ain't that right, Nic? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v134/NotWalkinBlind/LOLdude.gif

Nic your 12th dragster looks very simlar to the car I wanted to build 2 years ago.http://us.a2.yahoofs.com/users/43de7c48zb76d84af/b0ffre2/__sr_/c475re2.jpg?ph4CmqGB1ONAz26m

I was going to use a motor-cycle wheel as a tail dragger with front wheel drive, but I moved on to a different design that should be faster due to the extreme reduction in frontal area and better flowing lines. Its a true streamliner. Bad news is that I had a CT scan last week and I will be going back under the knife to remove my spleen and lymph nodes, and maybe starting chemo again. So making an attempt at next year may not happen if I am on chemo in the Spring.

Who need a rebuttal, my mock-up needs BONDO! I never finished filling body for some reason, maybe because it looked like a hammerhead shark, and I wanted the teardrop. I really wished I had a CNC, I could mill out some sweet bodies and make plugs for Lexan.

Nic I do have some questions about your latest attempt: Do your bodies deform greatly at top speed. Do you worry about tire failure: is there an inverse relationship with sidewall height and blowout danger. Have you thought about using slicks to cap the tires like in the old days.

I fixed my last post, link was bad http://www.flickr.com/photos/10693482@N08/925968405/

How do you criticize someone after a comment like this? :(

I believe his comments were directed at my car not me and I love a good jab. Anyways...just had a PET scan and the cancer is not spreading radpidly but, I still need more chemo and radation. But I am working on car, mostly gathering the materials and learing the skills for laying carbon fiber and kevlar. I made a custom strut with K&S steamline tubbing and used fiberglass tow and polyester resin. It was strong, but not enough. Maybe tonight after my workout, I'l try Carbon tow and expoxy.
