hey ..my xxxnt keeps shutting off when i give it throttle

could be rich or lean. how does it shut off? does it move at all or does it just die right there?

it will go like five feet then shut off its my first nitro so im not experienced with them but i did the break in correctly

mk. try to richen the high speed needle on the car about a half turn. it might perform sluggishly but it will prepare the engine to be tuned. it should be very rich when you do this (might spit a lil fuel out the exhaust and move real slow). when you do this, you can run about 2 speed runs, then turn the high speed needle clockwise 1/8th of a turn and try a few more speed runs. keep doing this until you reach maximum performance and your engine starts to cut-out at high speed. now you will turn the HSN out (counter clockwise) a quarter turn and you should be safe.
