what do you guys think is the biggest rivalry in the rc world bettween manufacturers?? I have found 4 really big ones, any others I missed?
1. Associated VS Losi
2. LRP VS Novak
3. Airtronics VS Futaba
4. Traxxas VS HPI (read: _maxx v.s. savvy)

Losi vs associated is definately my agreement. I guess you could say Novak vs. Tekin back in the day but there's nothing like Losi and AE.
More recently, I'd say Mugen/Ofna/Kyosho in the 1/8 buggy world.
We could also say Serpent/Mugen for the 1/8 onroad folk.

Imma racer at heart...and to a large degree, I agree Losi vs AE and maybe Reedy/Trinity have their place...that being said...especially given what Ive seen on the many forums I read...IMHO today's hottest rivalry goes to the bashers...Traxxas vs HPI, Revo vs Sav, EMaxx vs E-Sav..etc.etc. More bad blood has been spilt, more forum users have gotten butt hurt, and more users have been banned off of forums in their arguments for which they prefer.

I think they are both great. I like my XXX-T MF2 just as much as my Factory Team T4. They're both designed brillantly, both parts are equally available and good quality. The only factor that would push me to buy one over the other is how they are doing on the racing circuit. Not because one is better, but because you'll have better luck finding setups and new modifications.

Its for that reason that I have a T4 and a XXX-NT. Each has managed to stay successful at racing, and I like to have a product that is being used because along with use and success of that product comes innovation, new parts, and new modifications.
