My son just got a car from a place called Raceline Motorworks (http://www.racelinemotorworks.com/default.aspx)in Vernon Hills. Not only is it a haul from chicago to go there but does anybody have any closer places for parts etc? Also any one know what model/brand cars they sell?

Looks like crap to me. A RC car for 35.00??? Can't be all that good if any at all. I'll go there and check it out and report back in a few days.

Unless the car is similar to one of the ripoff cars that they sell, you wont be able to find parts anywhere other than that place.

I remember reading about this place-concept sometime back.
When it breaks.. dump it and get a hobby grade RC...even an XMod from Radio Shack has more potential and quality than that other thing.
