View Full Version : Hangar 9 Extra 260 35% !!!

Just about finished Hangar 9's new Extra 260. It is huge here is what it looks like right out of the box on my ping pong table for scale. Here is what it looks like:

We used a PowerBox distributed by Duralite. This eliminates a lot of extra wiring and has full programming. You can set the endpoints, centers and even though it looks like a handful I found it easier to use than a transmitter!

A picture of the engine. This is an Evolution 116 cc engine which pulls 14 horsepower... Amazing!

We rigged up the plane to a tree in case my father and I could not hold onto it during break in of the engine. It pulls hard!

All in all it was a fantastic day, I can't wait to put many more flights on this great model.

I did and nothing happens - I can see some of the other videos (Rich's twin, etc) but not yours :(

All I get is white screen with a bar in the middle - and the 'playing' icon moving .....

It is a .mov file so you will need quicktime to view it. You can always right click and choose save-as and try it that way also, hope you can view it!

Software problem...I'm missing a 'compressor' but the link to Quicktime indicates I'm O.K......don't ya just love these computers :)

Yeah, if all else fails try reinstalling quicktime from apple.com
