Anyone ever seen this or know anything about them?

(Excerpted from Kontronik's site)
Compared with ESCs like it form other companies the Power Jazz 63V surprises with an excellent prize. The Power Jazz 63V is nearly undestroyable. A strong partner for all modelers having strong ideas.

That is a huge controller!! The input wires are 6mm!! It can handle some serious power too. Hate to see the price :-(

Exactly, at 63v the 200 amp surge rating gets you right at 17 horsepower.

Hi,
How's the brake ? I thought I saw somewhere that it does not have proportionate brakes.

I asked Omar a few years ago to make his controller brushless, well he still has not joined the bandwagon, but here is his 640,000 Watt at 400V controller in the size of a shoe box.
Just a matter of time before we all start modding our Pirus and the EV1 comes back as a kit car. I can see it now, just buy the roller, choose your batteries, controller and an 200mm brushless motor that suits your driving (city, highway, or wheelies and stoppies.

ya there is only one company that I know of that makes a auto size brushless and that is A.C Propulsion Inc. Their's is a bit large for a motorcycle and very expensive. If I wanted to make a brushed controller, all I need is a PWM chip and either IGBT's or FET's for the power stage. Brushless is a little more tricky.

Tower says that's an aircraft controller... Sure looks like a car controller to me though.
Is tower full of crap like usual?

yes and no
Kontronik calls them CAR when they are meant for cars, and the big one is not.
It does not have the proportional brake like the CAR controllers.

Not sure if it would work for you in your particular application. Only one way to find out :-)

If you wanna know some Datas or some things, Tricks a.s.o., please ask them here, as i do have one of these babies running in my 1:6 Monster Truck.
Pretty awesome Stuff, but as already stated: NO prop. Brakes, but normally youŽll use a good hydraulic disk brake system to slow these powerful cars down.
HereŽs a Picture of what the esc has to power (wasnŽt built in at the time the picture was shot, Sorry):
