Go with the TC if you think you'll ever upgrade to their lower turn motors. Just because it's labeled TC doesn't mean you can't use it in a stadium truck. If anything, it should run cooler than the comp. version (I think the TC comes with a heatsink and fan). I think the TC version also has some useful little throttle maps and what not in it too.

thanks thunder... i just needed to hear it from someone else... i live in FL myself, is there a track on your coast you'd rec. a must drive?

I'm not much of a racer; the nearest offroad track that I know of is about 30 minutes away (Markham Park I think), and I'd rather not hauul all my stuff in my little Mustang that far and back (I'd go through a tank of gas in no time.....AHHHHH!). My T3 has been down for a year too, and my only other off roader is a Rustler (IE- handles and is built like a tank....lol!)

With that said, you could try checking out Markham Park; I think they're supposed to have a nice track (or I would assume so, seeing as how it's a pretty nice park to begin with last time I was there).

I'm not sure if there's really any BIG and really good "must drive" tracks around here though. From what I've seen at my LHS, there's a lot of 1/8 nitro guys in this area. If it's not an 1/8 buggy or truggy they're wheelin', it's a nitro 1/10 tourer. So if anything, you'd probably get lumped in with some nitros if the electric classes aren't big enough.
