I agree with the majority, that the rules need to be a bit loose to have progression and evolution, in the speed side of this hobby. But i was looking at my associated rc10 T3 and was thinking, if someone showed up with a CF plate chassied 2" longer wheelbase, i wouldn't have a chance. So i was thinking, maybe a stock and mod class for the speed challenge. What i mean is like my T3 you would run stock chassis and wheelbase and stock type tires (can be street or foam, but must be similar in size to what would appear on the truck from box. I think it would be cool to see Joe blow racer or basher show up with their basher/ racer and try for a title with a playtoy, as opposed to all streamliners and touring cars. I think it would make speed runs more accessable to all.
