okay..this is my second evx that blew up in my emaxx...and im no sure what to get now. only have about 300 dollars and i need to get a reciever too. (esc blew it up also). so if anyone has any idea of a good esc that will work with the stock titan motors and NOT blow up plz reply! also will the mamba max work in the emaxx?

If you want to spend the entire 300$ it may be worth researching the MM 4600 and any receiver that would work.
remember you cant run (or at least shouldnt) run the MM on 12 cells directly without a Ubec - it can handle it but will get hot.

The Mamba Max speed control could probably be made to work in en Emaxx with the right motor and an external BEC - the motors that Castle Creations sells along with the Mamba Max are too small however for an Emaxx. I'm not sure what to recommend for a motor though - maybe one of the Feigao 540XL variants, hopefully someone with brushless Emaxx experience can chime in.

The problem with using a feigao XL motor is they have too much torque for the gearboxes to handle and will take out all the gears on acceleration.
Maybe a fiegao 540 10l may work...not sure - check out the burhsless forums, plenty of people have tried.

Novak's Super Duty XR (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJAC0&P=7) was designed as a direct brushed replacement controller for the E-maxx. It is much more rugged than the EVX.
