I've done a bit of research but I'm sure someone out here in net land has tried it. "Tried it" being that someone has installed a fan unit on a car. The car I'm dealing with is a Associated TC4-RTR. I have seen the Associated fan unit but I have heard of others such as: 3racing, atomic, and muchmore racing. I'm looking at installing the associated heatsink but which fan can be installed? Pictures would be good: spr6.8spc@yahoo.com

The fans were used to attach to motor in brushed motor use, while it is usually attached to esc in brushless motor use.
Novak used an attached fan on their brushless escs, Orion offers a cooling fan for either motor or esc and many others have them. Much More had one on their website as whats new some months ago.

Get a TOPCAD heatsink/fan combo as the 3Racing ones (the fan itself at least) are pure garbage and their customer support sucks!
you will get one race out of the 3racing fan before it goes - trust me. the topcads last longer but are not hugely powerfull.

the best COMBO i have found is the 3racing heatsink with a Muchmore fan. its a little more expensive but its a good powerfull combo.
