View Full Version : super rooster or novak super duty xr? help!

ive had two evx esc's blow up on me so far and now im looking for something that is reliable and strong. i was looking at the super roosters and then saw the super duty xr..o. and this is for an emaxx with stock titans and reciever. also running dual duratrax 3600's. if you have any goods suggestions plz reply! ty!

I haveboth and I can tell you that the Super rooster can only handle 10 cells ... SOOO if that tells you anything i think you have the answer to your question ... ;)

i run a super duty and its amazing.id recomend it for sure

ok. ty. im gonna get the super duty xr and i was wondering of i should wire both motors from the smae wire or wire one from the esc and use seperate wire to jump power from the other motor?

The super duty comes with enough wire to just wire each motor seperatly ... It wires in just like the EVX esc does .... 2 red and black for the batteries and 2 red and black for the motors ..... HINT ( the shorter set of wires goes to the batteries ) ;) have fun with it :D

i got the super duty xr today! i have it in and all i havce to do now is wire the caps it tells me to onto the motrs and then solder the motors to it.
i think im gonna wire both from the same wire and just run it parralell to both motors. ty for your help!

The super duty Does NOT come with two red and two blacks to hook up the motor.
It has one green, and one yellow wire for the motor hook-up.
But does share the evx style two red two black Battery hook-ups.
