It'll stay right here. I'm here to help anyone if they have questions about our Li-Po's and other products. If people want they can go to our website to purchase these products. I'm here for product support not to Buy/Sell/Trade. And you know what they say about opinions.

For a Marketing Manager, You should have a coarse in PR. I'll deal with Austin & Clint. Stay where you're at, cuz I won't deal with you, even in this forum.. MaxAmps does deal with several Teams in my area. It would be a shame to lose them Cuz the MM in a area doesn't have a good PR.

So it was ok for you to tell me where to go. Look I'm here to help our customers and you came after me telling me what I should and where I should go to do it. It would have been just as easy for you to just ingnore the post and not try to cause any problems. I've got a great PR record and have been working with MaxAmps for awhile now. You chose to come after me by telling me how and where to opperate. I didn't come after you. It's pretty easy to see that you like to cause problems so we'll leave it at that. You enjoy your long Holiday weekend and take care.

Your comment on your first post "And you know what they say about opinions" That not! what you say to a customer. Your record of PR is only less the 25 post, so you are new to the company. You said that you are new fulltime employee. MM is a title, not meaning what you are. Being a saleman And a manager for 35 years . We learn customers are alway correct. Right or wrong we take it.
Good I won't deal with you. You rub me the wrong way. I'll deal with Austin He's more professional person. Something to think about.
The only thing you said was to have a nice long weekend. Same to you and family, Safe and Sane one.

No doubt on the company, Good products. They well on their products. There are many team in my region that uses their products. The team are looking into lipos. 10 teams in my region are looking for sponsers on there product, MaxAmp is one of three. A MM should do a bit more which he hasn't. He hasn't impressed me. 10teams consisting of 10 drivers willing to spend up to $250-$300 on lipo each.
Business is Business. This MM will not see or be part of. Someone else will maybe may see other then MaxAmps. Alot of business goes by talk, the word of mouth.
Anyway!! have a nice weekend. I'm off to the River!!!! and Yuma,AZ to do ATV's!!! later!!!

Welcome, glad things are going good enough for MaxAmps to add to the company! Don't mind terrible-t. Seems he just got rubbed the wrong way and need to stay out if there is nothing good for him to say. Your in the right place.
It's Kewl! But keep it in the Buy/Sell/ Trade section of the forum.
Just my opinion on where your this thread should be.
Hope this weekend helps cool ya down. There is no reason to be that way to someone. If you have been in sales for years than you know what is like to start out. Remember those old guy that wouldn't buy from you when you first started beacuse you were young and dumb? Now your asking like one of those. I didn't like them, and I am sure you didn't too.
Deal with Austin and that will be that!

Just thinking aloud here...
For a fella thats got 35 years of "management" experience under your belt, it seems that your the one in need of a reality check. So I guess that your 1000+ post puts you at the top of the food chain??
Well with 35 years in management under your belt and the 1000+ posts, one would think you would have reached a higher level mentally...
On a much lighter note, Maxamps has always given me great and prompt service...
I welcome another member to their team. :)

Thanks for the support guys..........One thing I've learned in doing this for the last six months on a part time bassis was there's one in every crowd. Why should I let them walk all over me? I'm no different than them. I'll treat people with the same respect they treat me with.
Anyways to answer some of the question brought forth here................
RonF:
Your safety concerns are something that a lot of people with cars and buggies have on their minds as of late. Another company has brought out hard covers for their packs but these raise a few problems......these hard covered packs cannot breath they are sealed and donot get any air movement over them causing a heating issue that can lead to an over heated pack that can possibly swell. This leads to the other problem you cannot directly see the pack its self so if a pack does start to swell you will not know of it until it's to late. I have had sveral planes go down and go down hard with Li-Po's popping off and smacking into tar, grass, and gravel. I still use many of them. The only time you need to be really concerned is when charging. Making sure you charge at the right settings.......in most cases when a LI-Po goes south it's a case of it being charged on a wrong setting.I hope that helps some if you'd like PM me you number and I answer any questions you have. It's easier to talk about it than to type it.
mikemaxx14:
Three packs come to mind, our 5000HV 3S 11.1V (If your ready for it) our 8000HV 2S2P 7.4 V pack and our 6000HV 2S2P7.4 V pack. If you go to our website check to make sure they will fit in your ride and also make sure you have an LVC when running Li-Po's.
Fiat124:
What do you mean by slow? What battery are you charging and at what rate? And what are you comparing the charge time against? Also wasn't real sure who your second post was directed at, hope it wasn't me.
As I stated in my first post I'm here to help... not to directly sell our products the company website is for that. I work from home and also I'm in charge of event promotions and team racers and pilots. If anyone has questions please feel free to contact me at jason@maxamps.com if you'd like you can leave a phone number and I will call you back. One on one over the phone is somtimes easier that trying to type a long solution out. My goal is to keep all of our existing customers happy and make all of our new ones feel like they've been here the whole time.........just like at home.
Thank you all.........have a great Holiday Weekend.

Maxamps rules, I speak HIGHLY of your cells and catch hell for it on rctech.net. Terrible-T, you are not a moderator, so who are you to tell him where to go? He has started a thread for Customer Support, not soliciting sales. His post to let people know they will have a full time employee to answer questions and for support; FS/FT is a user flea-market. He was neither coarse nor rude...YOU on the other hand, came off holier than thou! You dont like it, BE OUT! A-B....C-YA!!!!
I have a MaxAmps

Now, this post would have been fine if you say, asked if perhapse your charger had something wrong with it or if MazApms was planning on addressing the issue. Instead you left it as nothing more than a meaningless complaint. If you want help or information regarding a MaxApms product, post in this thread, if you want to complain, make your own and hope others join in.
You are a trader trying to shift your junk get in to Buy/Sell/ Trade section of the forum.
If you can come up with a single shred of evidence that this is true, I congratulate you. He plainly said that he would be here to provide customer service and field any questions we might have. Not a single word was written suggesting that Jason was trying to "shift his junk".
That said, I have never dealt with MaxAmps(too poor) or therefore Jason, or any other member of the team over there. I will say that I have only heard good things about the company's products and have seen them show good support here. So anyone with an interposterior device please remove it and allow this fellow member to provide the help came here to give.

We just talked the boss into applying for a dealership from Maxamps. Hopefully it works. :)

Nice to see companies providing support on major forums. Forums really are the main discussion area for RC and i wish other companies could do the same instead of having to sign up to their company forum.

What's a "coarse in PR"? Seems like you have a PhD in abrasive public relations.

How come the price of the 6000 mah 7.4 volt went from 80 bucks last spring to 110 bucks this summer?
I have these packs and like them , but jumping almost 30 dollars in one year has scared my wallet :)
Jason MaxAmps

There are quite a few things to take into consideration for the price increase. It cost more to have the copper tabbed cells made, alomost all of our main parts for constructing the packs increased, shipping costs both overseas and in the U.S. went up do to fuel cost. Not to mention hiring a few more guys to help keep up with demand and to provide you with the best possible customer service in the industry. If your buying packs directly from us make sure your signed up as a member this will give you a discount that will increase with purchases and a monthly e-mail will be sent to you telling you of any specials that might be coming up in the future. Anyone can register and get the process started. Just go to www.maxamps.com and sign up at the lower left side of the home screen.
Thanks,
Jason
