so after closely looking at this (http://www.rc-monster.com/tempforum/showthread.php?t=549) & seeing how the mamba max is modified, i would like to know what these mods and tweaks do exactly, how they help better the MM. I looked through the whole thread but could not find any real useful information, so im asking if you guys can help me out. thanks in advance...

potentially double the current handling capacity when 2 power boards are used.

griffinru also did some modifications to make the controllers work safer with 6s lipo.

Higher capacity with less thermalling. Read this thread:

Thanks for that Quest

Ill only be running my MM on 2s, maybe even 3s at a later date. Im also grabbing a Vortex 7.5 shortly, do you think the stage 1 mod would be useful, or is really not needed?

As I hear a few ppl with cogging/stuttering problems with MM/vortex, but i also hear ppl that run this combo successfully, Im thinking of the stage 1 mod that it might help prevent cogging/stuttering, but also keep temps down because after a 30min run my MM esc is real hot...

I am running an MM on 4s with a Neu 1515/1y. I am still tweaking the MM's setup to decrease cogging and so far so good. more trials tomorrow...
