Hi guys. So im getting back into rc and got a tc4 rtr about six months ago and i love it. anyways im looking to go brushless and lipo possibly now. what would be a good brushless motor/esc combo that will be fast and reliable? also i would like the ability to upgrade to lipo in the future if i wanted to. thanks

novak GTB esc(features lipo cut-off) novak velocity 3.5r or 4.5r motor(i owned the 4.5r and its fast for my pro4)

also ever heard or mamba max??well they offer good brushless system too....highest motor they have is 7700kv

go to their official sites for more info on their brushless systems

I would say go with a mamba system they are very good and you can make all kinds of adjustments. I have both the 7700 and 5700. The 5700 overall is probably the best cause you can use up to 3c lipos. The 7700 is actually more for road use but can only go up to 2c lipos. Beside a mamba the LRP is a good system as well.

The Novak GTB is good and you can use the Novak GTB and the 13.5 motor for pro stock races at most tracks. Of course if you're just looking for some extreme power and speed get the Novak 3.5 with the GTB.

thanks guys...i bought the mamba max 7700 system and got it hooked up yesterday and its insanely fast. anyways i have a lot of tuning to do now on it and getting used to the tons of extra power. thanks for all the help guys. also quick question do you think its necessary to set up a cooling fan/heatsink on it? thanks

No I don't think so, I race my T4 out here in the heat of Iraq and the hottest I've gotten so far is 167 at the motor and the esc got to about 144 I think. It's not nessecary but it would help and any little but helps!
