I have a OS MAX 20 nitro engine in my R/C boat, and would like a pull start for it, are they a standard thing, or do I need to get one that is designed specially for my engine? Thank you:)

Not sure you will find a pull starter for that engine. But a Sullivan Tiger Drive, with adapter plate will work good. The adapter plate allows you to place the Tiger drive on many different engines.
