Do I need Spektrum for bashing? I'm thinking about selling my Hitec SRX and Spektrum Pro once I get my T4. I was thinking about getting a Futaba 3PM. Had anyone had any glitching problems with that radio? I'm asking about glitching because I want to get a MM system and I don't want a runaway. Any input? Thanks for the help.

The Spektrum eliminates someone being on your frequency, however, the likelyhood of that happening is very small.
You could go either way but a crystal set up in FM is a little less expensive but doesn't have a built in failsafe for low battery power like the DSM has so add the cost of a failsafe to the FM radio. You should also always be using a TRS (Throttle Return Spring) in case the battery falls out or gets disconnected.

Maybe i'll stick with my Spektrum setup, for when I do go brushless down the road, I don't want a glitch in the system and have a 35+mph runaway. I do need to get a new modual (sp) cause my current one broke.

I have a 75MHz pcm radio (3PJS) and the darn thing locks out with my stampede. Granted, the rx is REALLY close to the steering servo and the battery leads, but it still locks out. Brushless makes radios do weird things.
On the other hand, though, my friend only gets about 150-200 feet of range before his spektrum shuts down completely and he has to walk within like 50 feet of the truck to regain signal.
