Hello
My name is Andrew Pearson, i'm 16, and i live in central minnesota.
I was just looking for ANYONE near me to bash or race with!
I cant seen to find anyone near me, except for the 4-5 guys i saw racing onroad in Ramsey. I own a Sportwerks Mayhem 1/8 buggy, a Duratrax Warhead 1/8 monster truck, a 1/28 Iwaver 02 Ford GT, and a Radioshack Xmods Hummer H2. I just ant someone else to mess around with our RC cars. I have a starter box, so I can assist starting, and a garage full of tools to use.
If you live somewhere nearby, or ar willing to drive, post here please!
I need a friend. (lol, i have friends just none own good RC's)
Thanks.

Hey, maybe one day you want to drive down to Hampton, MN (about 40min from metro) and race some carpet on-road at The RC Barn? I just got into it and its a blast...you could also just stop by to watch and check it out. Its real fun.. i sold all of my nitro off-roads for the winter. Just have the TC5, pede VXL, and 3905 E-Maxx now.

I'm in the Twin Cities / metro area, and would like to find a place to run my trucks too.

I went to a track in the northern suburbs once that had an indoor offroad track. They allowed gas or electric in there, and had a really nice set-ip wit h a parts counter and I think food/beverages. it was pretty cool. That was probably more than 5 years ago, and I can't even remember what it was called. It was definitely north of the Twin Cities a little bit. It wasn't St. Paul Hobby or whatever that place was called.

Does anyone know the place I'm talking about? Or any other places around here with an indoor offroad track?

I'm totally up for some bashing around here with some people. I'm just getting back into the hobby and I think I'm dragging my buddy into it with me :p

I really wish I could remember where exactly that track was so I could find out if it still exists or not. There was a 2nd area in there for onroad racing too.

Where are you located exactly? Anywhere near the Metro?

T-maxxviper, i think your talking about TCHR, or twin cities hobby and raceway. they closed about a year ago.
there's an outdoor place not to far from me called northside sports. they mostly do paintball, but they have an onroad and offroad track (outdoors though) but i never see the offroad one used.
they have a series for the onroad, but i think the offroad needs some repair.
theres some ideas.

No, wasn't TCHR.
I really wish I could remember what the place was called.

Has anyone been to Jerry's RC lately? For some reason I thought I remembered him having an offroad track out back of the shop. I'm going to have to pay that place a visit again sometime soon.

it's on Lake Drive, in the Lino Lakes/Circle Pines area. North of the Metro a little bit. It was a great little shop next to this guy's house.

I believe it burned down once a long time ago, but I've seen an advertisement or two since, so I'm 99% sure it's there again. I'm anxious to check it out again, and then I can check and see if he's got a track.
