I have a JR XR1i 75 mhz AM transmitter and a Futaba 75 mhz AM receiver. Before I spend money on crystals, will these work together? I think they came in the same vehicle, but they've been in my closet for a couple years and I don't remember. I want to replace that crap system in my new AE GT2. Thanks!

Nope. Positive shift JR and Negative shift Futaba.

AM don't shift, just FM does. They will work just fine.

Are you sure about that? I'm fairly certain I've tried 75MHz AM stuff back and fourth without much luck. 27MHz works just fine but 75 seemed to be a bit weird.
