For those of you running 4S or greater setups on your large electrics, our new XBEC might be a good way to avoid a receiver pack. You can find it in the "ESC's" section of our website.

The XBEC is a switching external BEC, for use with 3S-10S battery packs. It's capable of a sustained output of 4A, with intermittent bursts to 5A. This is useful when the BEC on your speed control can't handle the voltage/current needed for your setup, or if you are using an ESC without a BEC.

Looks great! 4A continuous will work for my bigger planes!

I could not find it on your web page. Can you link to it?

WOW!
At that price, it is the perfect solution! We have been carrying a large receiver battery on our TeleMaster, and this would have cost less. And been less hassle on the charging.
