The tiny GAUI Hurricane 200 from Empire includes a brushless motor and speed control. It is assembled except for the rotor blades and electronics. It uses a common 2-cell 800mAh pack, has a full CNC-machined rotor head that is a work of art, and costs $319.

My son Kyle has been flying this little beauty since November of last year. The heli is a lot of fun!
Ours has the Bluebird 605 BB servos on the cyclics and a Futaba 3154 on the tail. We have flown it with a Futaba 401, Spartan DS760, and Hitec HG-5000. All 3 gyros worked well although the Hitec gyro required a little fiddling to get it to function properly.
