First off let me say hello to every1 here this is my first post.I really want to buy a Truggy Kit,they just built two new tracks in my area & seems every1 has buggy's and truggy's I currently have a Revo with a O.S. 18 and pretty much every peice of plastic converted to metal 17mm hubs single servo steering and bunch of other krap done and now I find that it's just two heavy it's fun as hell but I can't swing the turn's around the tracks the way those buggy's & truggy's do I just get lapped there so fast and handle so well.My other problem is that I'm lazy so I don't feel like tuning engines & cleaning them out I wanna charge a batt. & go. My 2nd problem is that I know nothing about brushless but it's still the basic electric cars with better onboard modules and a different motor???Right??? & more expensive ofcourse.
So with all that being said this is what I am looking for in my next kit
My budget for this project is going to be in the 1200 range maybe a little more due to the high price on lipo & I already have a charger that will do lipo battery's and a 2.4 mx3fhss controller no reciever Those are 100 bucks + two metal servo's @ 100.00each correct? If so that means I have about 900.00or so left over to spend on whatever else I need to achieve the following results & seeing some of the debate's you guys have on here I think im tapping the right source...LOL

I was looking @ the Hot Bodies pro r kit on tower for $434.00 and thinking of making it brushless I saw a video on you tube of one brushless it looked redunkuless the camera could barely keep up with it be it.

1. I would like it to be able to do in the upper 50's or better on the top end
2. User friendly remember this is my first truggy, brushless setup I don't want it to be cheap and easy but low maintenance.
3. Parts easy to get online or otherwise.
4. Durable I carefully take care of all my toys but sometimes krap happens+ I want to get the wifey involved she may drive this since it will be electric
5. I want it to be race ready I demand to WIN dammit & I know the pro kits r worth it right?

I'm not oppesed to a someone else building this car and setting everything up for me and selling me everything I know some people just get into building these im not 1 of them.
So please every1 give me some advice so I can think about something else other than what car and setup im going to run, that's all I have been thinking about for like 2 months it's makin me crazy!!!!

By the way I have a almost complete revo 2.5 roller I need only full gearbox's but that's not a truggy but I would like to make that brushless to maybe??

Mamba Monster Max system should be out sometime January for about $300 and will be able to provide the power you need.

I use a Hitec 625MG servo as the throttle and brake servo in my truggy, goes for about $36 and I use a ACE DS1015 servo on steering ($100)\

The speeds you want are unrealistic as no truggy needs to go faster than 50mph and you can't even use that kind of speed on a track. My friends 8T brushless does 50mph and wheelies with a center diff:eek:

He is asking for TRUGGY"S and by the speeds he wants he is looking at 5-6S lipo

I'm really only looking for that kind of power to have more not because I think I need it.I figured I might only really use those speeds using lipo's most of the time it would be running off normal 5000-8000mah,You can do that right? Is the hot bodies pro-r kit not a good choice or are the ones you suggest just your fav's http://www.hotbodiesonline.net/kit.php?partNo=hb66200&lang=en <---Take a look if you have never.Oh & I will be using it for racing as well as goofing off but my goofing off does not include trees and other cars.I own the lot next to my house and keep the grass real low it's about 1.5 acres so plenty of room to run around on,if it were not restricted I would build a track it costs me
20-35 dollars to goto a track anyway by the time I pay for gas to and from and your 5 dollars or whatever it is add it all up and it's another 1,000 dollars a year but im sure most dont drive that far to the closest track.....do they?
