I'm building a scratch buggy using a weed wacker engine I picked up and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a really small chain to use to connect the pinion gear from the engine to the spur gear. The engine vibrates so much its almost impossible to get the gear mesh consistent and I figured a chain would have some slack to solve this problem. Unfortunatly I cant find one on any hobby site...Help!

Thanks

www.mcmaster.com

They'll have everything you need for this project; just do a search for chain. I know from experience they a nice selection of sizes as well as different sprockets. Look around, I'm sure you'll find something.

the kyosho mad force uses a chain to drive the tranny to the lower tranny,
maby you can use one of them?
maby not tho, chain may be to weak, or sprockets too weak.
