Radio, Reciver problem

I turned on my radio and receiver. to find out that i am not getting a signal at all! now i have no clue what is wrong is it my receiver or radio. i have made sure that all my batteries are charged and all my wires are well connected. is there a way that i can see if its my receiver or radio?

If you have a friend in the hobby, just switch crystals on the RX to his vehicle, if it works, your TX is fine. Vicesa-Versa on his to isolate the problem.

found the problem my capacitor on my receiver blew :(
