I have a brand new Sphere w/10.5 Peak Advantage brushless motor. But no motor what I do, how many times I reset it, or how many times I go back to factory settings, I have constant drag break, I've checked all my wires, gone thru the settings 100 times, even though the speedo says that automatic brake is not active, and initial brake is at minumum, I still have drag, checked the transmission, everything is smooth, when speedo is turned off, rolls freely, as soon as I turn it on, there it is drag...... Any ideas???

Does anyone know what happens when you turn the speed control on while holding the mode button?? what does it do???

Mode 2 only dealswith accel/punch. Mode 3 0r 4 deals with braking. 4 step to adjust level.

It could be that the sensored motor naturally has a slight drag brake effect. Most sensored motors, if you try to turn the shaft, you can feel resistance due to the iron stator. That may not be the case though if it's particularly strong.

Redo your set up procedures, Making sure the correct color LED is light or flashes or on simultanously., on neutral, throttle. and braking. Be sure the motor is disconnected all 3 wires. Then the modes if any to be set by you.
It is more important how you set up procedure are done neutral, thottle and braking. let the LED light and flash before you enter it in memory by pressing the set button.. Then connect the motor to the ESC.

I insalled another sphere and it's perfect, don't want to give up on the other one, so i'm going to try with your recomendations terrble, the only thing different from what I've been resetting it was connected to the motor, but that's exactly how I set this other one and it worked .....
