Hey guys, long time no post. Anyhow, my friend has an RC10GT with a throttle servo that took a crap, so we hit up the lhs today and he bought a hitec 645MG to replace it. He has the stock AE XP-2 radio equipment that comes with it and the servo will not work. We plugged it into my Futaba FM rx and it worked with my controller, so it's not the servo. Anyways, I've been out of the rc loop for a while and haven't dealt with the AE radios for even longer, so I figured I'd go here for help. I looked on towers site to try and find what brands the XP-2 is compatible with but there was no information. So, does anyone know if the HS645-MG is compatible with the box-stock, AE radio?

Thanks! :)

Almost any servo should be compatible with almost any radio, electrically speaking at least (might have to trim the plastic on the plug a little on some). Are you sure it's not his receiver that died, making the previous servo not work?

Did you plug it in backwards?

We figured that out at my house, my friend though he tried it both ways, but his transmitter was dying so it was a combo of the two. We got to my house and I plugged the servo into my trucks rx and it worked. Flipped it around and all was good.
