I am especially interested in the smaller displacement (.32)GMS engine. If anyone has a GMS I am interested in running characteristics, starting characteristics, and longivity.
Still don't know why they are not available from Tower. Are they discontinued?

I have no experience with GMS. But yes, they are still sold by Tower Hobbies (www.towerhobbies.com). Pull up the web page and do a search on GMS and you will find the engines. The .32 is sold at $59.00 plus shipping.
Cheers,

Tower Hobbies list all of the GMS engines but each month they pushing the delivery date back. First it was Late December, then Late January (which some are still listed); now its Late February.
When I check the GMS sites, they list some of the engines as discontinued. Unfortuatelly the .32 is listed as discontinued. Thanks for your response.

You might try www.mecoa.com They were the importer prior to Tower Hobbies and I know they are selling off their stock. You might find a good deal there.
As Mr Lee has said many times, the GMS is made in the same factory as the Tower Hobbies engines. Since they probably sell more engines than MECOA, Tower probably strong armed the manufacturer into sell thru them only.

I own many GMS engines purchased from Richmond Hobby in Vancouver,
But Tower took over the distribution and increased the prices.
Richmond Hobby then brought out the new VMAX which is as
good or better than GMS. I own several VMAX and see no reason
to spend more money on any other brand of 2 stroke engines.
