Hey guys Im new to the site and to the world of rc boating. I just got a Black Jack 26 with twin Venom 5000nimh 7 cell 8.4 volts batteries. I was wondering what kind of top speed should this setup yield? I currently have the stock prop which I want to upgrade on your suggestions... And what other mods can be done to this platform without going too crazy?... I know I can get the lipo batteries but $350 in batteries and charger sounds too much right now so I want to go little by little.
I strapped my Magellan gps unit on it just now with fully charged batteries and it only yielded 28.4mph which kida disappointed me since the guy that sold it said it should run 30-35....
