Yes, but you won't be getting the best charger. It will only charge lipos though

Then 2 of these suckers: http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-6000-74-Pack.htm

I run those packs and love them. GREAT run times and power!

If you can afford it, the 8000 packs are great too, but they are $155 a pop. The 6000s will be fine in the E-Maxx...the 8000's are the biggest you should go-anymore mah and the pack becomes a brick that won't fit in most cars. The 6000/8000 will be great for the Maxx and XXX-S. I have both the XXX-S and Maxx and my 6000s fit well in both!

Here are the 8000s: http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-8000-74-Pack.htm

I'm not sure how good it is...maxamps sells it so I don't think it can be "bad" but its not going to be the most deluxe charger in the world. It'll get the job done and looks like it can charge all sorts of lipos and cell numbers, so you should be good....unless you plan on charging 10 cell lipos :P

You can email maxamps or use their online support chat about chargers. Here is another that will do both nimh and lipos, although you say you already have one that does nimh: http://www.maxamps.com/EOS5i.htm

The Hyperion is nice, its the next charger I'll get (I'll probably pick up a EOS0610i)

It should. Its only slightly bigger.

You must charge it at no more than 1c, which means charge a 8000mah pack at 8amps. My 6000 at 6amps takes maybe an hour or a little less, depending on how much charge is left (if I ran it for 10 minutes it will take 30-40 minutes...if i ran for 20 its going to take an hour).

The charger I linked you can charge up to 1.5 amps. This means charging an 8000 pack could take 2 hours or more and I doubt it will have much punch. Sorry to have mislead you there...I guess thats what $40 gets you

Now, for slightly more, you can get a great deal, or so it looks: http://www.maxamps.com/Skyway-A2078-Charger.htm
It Charges NIMH, NICD, Lipo, Li-Ion & Lead Acid cells, balances your lipo, and goes up to 5 amps. Thats all you need really, especially considering it comes with Deans leads and has a built in balancer. A balancer would goes you the $30 difference. I got an Apache that was $30-so basically for the same price as that other charger and balancer you can get a much better one that goes up to 5 amps.
