Has anyone tried these? Are they worth 20 bucks? They are not the old GP 3300s, they are some nondescript made in China stick packs, but maybe they are OK play packs... or not...?

I would avoid non descript Chinese packs. They MAY work OK for a couple runs, but they get bad very quick. Of course, it does depend what sort of system and power you are running. Just shop ebay for some true GP packs, they don't cost much more than $20 and you know they are going to be good.

or you can try some orange tenergy 3500 mah cells rebuilt in side by side config. I've seen good punch from them so far and they are on sale with a deans plug (used a code for 7% off and free ship too). Best bang for the buck.

The non-GP RS packs are no where near as good as the GP packs were. I'd avoid them.

If you live in the US shipping for these might be pretty cheap...

These will be loads better than any 3300 pack for runtime, and probably punch too. At least GP are a decent brand.

I thought the majority of the public was trying to avoid Integy's 'less than stellar' quality?

Are they? That's the first I heard of that. You could be right, I'm not disagreeing, I've just never heard that before.

I have a had a few integy products and most of them seem ok - never cells though.
I have heard that Integy and 3Racing is the same company, im not sure about this but have to say most of the 3racing stuff i buy is close to garbage. only one thing i have bought to date from 3Racing would i say was good value.
As for the cells - no i wouldnt waste 20$ on un branded 3300 cells. personally i would shell out the extra few bones and go for tha Maxams 4.4K's they are DAMN nice cells for the price. (i think they are 4.8K now or somehting silly?)
either way, get somethin with a brand: IB, GP, EP or anythin that has been matched / zapped by a well known brand. if you are only bashing, find what the matchers are zapping and get the virgin - un matched cells.
Good luck,

IB,GP, & EP cell could be expensive. Purchasing RS3300 stick are good for bashing around with. You may get a stick for cheap that would be good. I'd purchase a stick for messing around with. Useing my good cells for racing only.

I use these packs in my drifter and they have been working great. These are awesome bashing batteries.

lol to be honest for bashing you need cells that dont explode and any cell would work.
the higher the Mah rating though the better they are for a basher.
some people still use low capacity Nicd cells for racing stock because of low resistance, price and the fact that you only draw between 2000 and 2500 in a stock race. (5mins).
Good luck,
