Greetings!
New to the forums here.
I'm working on my first flying airplane (I have a good bit of model builiding experience) - the Herr version of the Pitts Special. Something about biplanes...anyway...:D
Thanks to Chris Parent for posting his pic of a finished subject - I greatly appreciate it as I wanted to verify how the tail area got covered. His picture helped provide the answer. I also wanted to see a finished example.
My question relates to the subject - anyone have any experience with that product? The claim is that it is designed for craft like the Herr version.
I'd like to avoid the paint - simply because of the fumes (I've experienced dope fumes before and I didn't care for them). I'd also like to save a little time too. So, the above seems ideal.
Any thoughts?
So far, I have the fuse built & sanded, the rudder, the stabilizer, and the elevators - all built and sanded. Now working on the lower wing.
Thanks!
Sincerely,
/s/ Jon C. Munson II
