I keep wondering why we haven't seen a well constructed, well powered, electric unlimited hydroplane. Has anyone heard that a manufacturer has such plans for a RTR unlimited hydro? The ones on eBay are cool looking, but the components are junk. Can we expect a quality electric soon???
THANKS. :)

Try BBY Racing by Randy Naylor. He's been building them (and winning races) for years. Check out bbyracing.com & see if he's got what you need.

Where have you been? 1/8 scale FE Unlimiteds are all the rage today. Not too many built due to costs, but several dozen across the country. Most of these are very well built. As far as RTRs, you can have one built here:http://www.fastelectricrc.com/ or here http://www.finedesignrc.com/

For less expense, Aquacraft and ProBoat make 1/12 scale nitro hydros which could be converted to FE. I expect to see an FE version from one or both companies within the next year.
