my opinion, if you would have went without the flame but kept the rest of the truck the same, it would have looked quite good. But, definitely better than others of yours.

Well FESTER that is some of your best work.
I really wish I could get CF to look that good.
I've tried it a few times on truck beds and end up doing them a solid color after screwing it up.

Fester, this is your best work I've seen yet. Nice work!
Also, you can just copy paste the photobucket links, you don't need to use the insert image button-the photobucket links have those tags built in.

thanks guys,i wish the sides would have came out better.
zueslilbuddy-this is how i did the carbon fiber look.do a section at time like first do the roof then do each side then the hood.its easier than it sounds!each section just use a fresh piece of draw liner.i will try to do a turorial on this on my next body i do!

As said, looks like your best one yet Fester. About the silver/orange. Always be sure it is totaly dry before adding another color. If it is still tacky it will bleed. Also it's hard to tell from the pics, but I'm guessing you layed down the orange a bit too thick as well.
Overall much better than before. Good to see you improving. And on a body I sold you no less. :)

looks good i agree it is you best job yet, i have noticed that when i paint and it is cold outside static plays a big part in the painting process if you are inside and then you go outside to paint it and then back in to blow dry it some how the paint will not dry i dont think the thinner can evap from the paint the outside layer dries only, then the static will make it peel off ,if you do it again just take alot more time wait about 45 min between colors and that way all the layers of paint will dry and not peel off, and spry some staic cling to a towel and hold the body with that and spray it on your clothes, the same thing happened to me before
