My latest and first attempt at liquid mask, Xray T2 chassis, Castle Creations Sidewinder ESC, 46Kv Brushless, HPI Saleen Body, 3 color mask for the stripes and kit decals. All rattle cans for the paint. I found a Saleen S7R on the Web and tried to imitate the paint job, the HPI kit came with decals matching the paint scheme but the piant turned out far better I think. Used Hobico liquid mask and a sharpie to draw the lines on the body cover.

Very nice and great use of the liquid mask. How does the Sidewinder go? You'll have to take a movie of it, I'm contemplating getting a sidewinder for my TC.

I am quite pleased with the result, going to try my hand on a new Mini-Cooper soon once I come up with a plan for it. The Saleen was modeled after this one I found on the web http://www.7extrememotorsports.com/lemans/cars/saleen-s7r-25.jpg
The Sidewinder is great the best system I have to date, if I go to a brushless system on anything else I'll get another Sidwinder, price is excellent and the performance is great. I took the Xray to my LHS track this weekend and it flys, often too fast but it works great, I put an old basher body on the chassis, can't tear up the shelf queen body :D had lot of compliments on the paint.
I have a Mamba Max and 7700 in my XXX-T MF and a the Sidewinder and 4600 in my Xray and they both rock, I have a Velineon 3500 system in my TC4 and I wish I had gone with the Sidewinder there but it wansn't released yet. Gearing change coming up on that one so I'll see what a difference it makes.
