Hey, I have a electric stampede that I'm trying to make into a scale Blue Thunder (Ford's monster truck) but can't find any longer chassis exept fastlane. So if any of you guys know of a good chassis just put down any info about it you know and of course the brand name.

ebay, has a few 1'' longer graphite chassis listed. I just purchased a std length chassis from them. Not bad for the price. you will need to find hardware (6 1/2''-3/4'' length screw/nut & 2 longer screws for the front mount) as its not included with the chassis.

Yes, FLM makes aluminum parts for the stampede, as well as integy and GPM.

Easier to start with a clod buster.

it would require some time and patience, but you could take some lighr metal and bend up a full framed skid plate, wrap it up around the chassis, but make it an inch or whatever you need longer. cut the center out of the chassis, bolt the skid in, then fil lthe gap with resin, let dry, and smooth in. Basically using the skid as a "mold" to make a longer chassis. just a thought
