hey all. i been doing lots of research and i keep changing my mind to which tires/rims i want.
but now im set. im just gonna get the 14mm rpm titans offset or the 14mm proline velocity 6 offset wheels. but now i need your opinions/recomendations for a new set of tires for my emaxx. i run in all terrains, but mainly in construction type area like rocks, pepples, dirt, loose woodchips, grass, twigs, etc.. my main goal is pretty much climbing. i love to go up lil steep hills. im not too much of a jumper or speed freak. i just like to trample over things and go up stuff. sooo, most importantly, i need tires at least as wide and tall as the stock ones which is 5.75 height 3.8 width. i searched all over the place and they are either too short or too narrow. i really dont care what brand tires as long as they are good for what ii wanna do. please help me with this, im sick of researching countless threads!

thanks all!

mulchers or mashers would be a good start

i like the mashers but they are too narrow, and the 40 series mashers are too tall and heavy.

Look, the 40-series tires are actually fairly low-profile. I'm not sure what else you've seen, but they are some of the lowest profile tires available aside from full-on racing tires. The only lower tires in 40-series are the Road Rages and the pin tires. Here are Mashers:

If you want to go standard-sized monster tires and wheels, those will all have taller sidewalls which will translate to more roll and less sure-footed performance on the road. They may offer more off-road compliance though. You can't get Moabs in that size though. Good alternatives for heavy off-road are Badlands, inbetween would be Masher2000s or Mulchers, then that's it aside for racing tires and Road Rages.

go bow tie if you race but for bashing the badlands are decent and look sweet

sick ride 7urbo!yea i know 40series are low profile but they are wider and taller and way more. and people are telling me to stay away from the 40s becase it will add tooo much stress and weight to the drive train, axles, and other stuff. f they are wrong, then i would love to get the 40s. i just dont want to break stuff. so which 40s you think will suit my driving style and terrain best..i describe it on my first post. i like the big joes but ppl are saying those are the biggest but in fact they are actually lighter than the mashers by 8grams. they are just wider ...the mashers are taller.
oh, i hear good things with the badlands...but they are just toooo narrow..even more narrow than the stocks.

I'm sorry, which Emaxx do you have, the 3906 or the new 3905 with 3.3 drivetrain and the new transmission?

btw if you want you can hit me up on AIM, ADRrcnmt4tec.

Unless you have a brushless your not going to break any drive train parts because of 40s. If you can put a 3.3 in a 2.5 truck like my friend did and not upgrade the drive train runing 40s, than its fine in an E-Maxx. My reccomendation for rimes and tires would be the proline (spoked) velocitys with some moabs.
