2008 RCE WINTER SHOWDOWN
FEBRUARY 23rd and 24th
MARK YOUR CALENDERS, you won't want to miss this one.
R/C Excitement in Massachusetts is having its 1st Annual 2 day Winter Showdown on February 23rd and 24th. Racing will be held on our 100' x 50' INDOOR R/C Moto-X track.
There will be prizes, a raffle, race clinics, and the POINT SERIES SHOOTOUT, along with a FREE Team Enduro Race on Saturday. Racers are coming in from all over and the race sponsors have lined up. This is sure to be our largest event of the Indoor Off Road season.
The POINT SERIES SHOOTOUT between the TOP FIVE racers from both the Thursday series and Sunday series for all four classes. The Limited 2wd Buggy and Modified 4wd SHOOTOUTS will be held on Saturday after the first 2 qualifiers and the Modified Truck and Sportsman Limited Truck will be Sunday. These will be one 7 minute heads up race to determine the overall Point Series Champion of each class.
Friday February 22nd Open Practice from 12pm - 9pm free with paid entry
Saturday February 23rd Limited 2wd Buggy, Modified 4wd Buggy, and 1/18 Scale Open
We will also be doing a 125 Lap Team Enduro Race FREE Entry
Sunday February 24th Modified Buggy, Modified Truck, and Sportsman Limited Truck
(Limited Class requires a 19t brushed motor or a 10.5 Brushless motor)
Race Schedule for each day:
Doors open at 8am
Open Practice 8am – 10am
Sign up ends 10am
Mandatory Drivers Meeting 10:15am
Racing Starts at 10:30am
Trophies to be awarded to the top THREE in all mains.
There will be a raffle with kits, tools, and other great prizes. Food will be available.
Entry forms will be available in the shop in advance and on the day of the event.
Prices are $30 for the first class, $15 for each additional class.
