Just thought i would kick a thread on some local racing going on here......


here's a shot of our track, which changes up week to week, making for some exciting racing action.

With a small group, everyone knows everyone, and the regulars do their best to help out...

Last night was our first oval race, and the carnage was heavy as many had never ran oval before.

the oval was short, and made for some good full-contact racing! With tight confines, comes big carnage too, and there was never a shortage of broken parts.

Racing action was HOT, as the switch back to the road course left some fighting for set-up from the previous weeks of ovals...

Rick Carloni and Nick Reeder ( A.K.A. rhcsavage21 & Mr.Crash) both battled with electrical gremlins all night.

Mr. Crash got that name for a reason!!! Nick's ability to drive UP a wall in the mall some 4ft. left little to imagine why he has his name!

Everyone was ready for some more hot action, getting their cars/trucks ready......well,. almost everyone.....Ken found his cell a relaxing distraction.

Even tho it was a smaller crowd, there was still no shortage on rc's..ready to lay down some hot laps on the technical track. With a max size limit to 1/14 cars, the track leaves room for some great side-by-side racing, and great passing opportunities...

due to a mis-placed memory card, I have no pics of last nights coverage.

The action was hot tho, as the ever-changing road course keeps drivers on their toes. "Team Tester" and "Team Witt" was again the dominant forces, as Dave and Derek dropped their new Kyosho Mini Inferno's down on the track to wreak more havoc.


I, myself, finally began to get the teething issues out of my newly accquired HPI MRS4, as I delat with radio/motor issues.


Also , a big congratulations to Brittney Briones!!! She mixed it up with the guys with the best of them, and after getting over a little shyness and nervousness, she had her little Micro-T running strong!

Saturday marked the end of our indoor program.

At this point, on behalf of ALL the racers, I would like to extend thanks to David Hayes, Dave Tester, and Derek Tester. Without these 3 gentelmen, this program wouldn't be there. Every weekend, you guys went above and beyond to make a great racing enviroment.

I would also like to apoligize to those who fell victim to "Da Coop" Saturday night! A Recoil/RC18R just doesn't fair well when trying to muscle a MO3, but the opposite can be said!!!! The "tank" and I will return in May for more fun!

We all had a great time, met some new friends, and shared alot of good laughs. I think the biggest enjoyment was the dogfights with Chad and myself !!! I owe ya some white paint to fix that pretty paintjob Chad!;)

Racing will return May 3rd, outdoors, so come on up, as the nitro's attack the track!!!!
