POST COUNT don't mean squat!!!!!

Okay, this coming from a guy who never shuts up. I jsut did a deal with a newer member. Post count was low, but I didnt let that bother me. The result? Awesome guy, great deal!!!

This doesnt jus apply to selling/buying/trading. I sold a CEN last year to CPEE, post count at the time..............1. ONE POST. Look at him now, Chris is one of the best guys to deal with on here.

Same applies for BigDaddV, and NIdahoMudder. Vince and Adam are excellent to deal with .We all know that now, but at the time I did trading/selling with them , they had lower post counts. Still didnt mean a thing.

But, knowledge as well.....

ironoutlaw-

Low post count, but works at a LHS. He knows his stuff BIGTIME! No, not just because he works there, but because he is a great wrench and racer. He pays attention too. Just because they don't have a high post count, don't rule them out guys. WE all learn something from everyone- it's what makes us grow as people.

Rant over-

Ron~

What spurred this on? I'm confused.

(If you want low post count, but high knowledge, read GSMnow's posts... The guy is a genius!).

Nothing really, just making a point. GSMnow is very well-versed in his r/c knowledge for sure!!!

I jsut was reviewing some threads, and seen where people ask other to ship first, ect., due to low post count. Just got me thinking.....

scary, huh?

Oh... I didn't realize you were talking about the FS/FT forums. Post-count discrimination. Go figure.

Post count not = knowledge?!?!

Surely you jest sir!

I demand to see graphs, and a full report from an oncologist... Something is amiss. Time to go buy lottery tickets and build myself a bomb shelter.

:D ;)

In all seriousness.. Anyone who thinks that post count on a forum means anything other than busy fingers: Needs to go outside and see the sun.

I totally agree! Post count means nothings, its all about quality, not quantity.

There is a kid on the Traxxas forums 2808 posts and hes only been a member for a little over 1 year. I would say at least 95% of his posts are useless and have no helpful info in them. Every time I notice, his Jato is always broken and he always has a problem with it.

I used to think post count mattered, but it doesnt. Everyone starts from 0 posts. Same thing on ebay, everyone starts at 0 feedback.

Post count means nothing. Past performance and prier dealings mean everything!
