Hey i got a pede last year and it had a esc problem and needed to be reset does anyone remember HOW to doit lol. I have it sold and need to get it back to normal. IF you have a used esc forsale also let me know i may just send them a spare.

There is absolutely no way to help until we know what ESC it is you're having trouble with.

I don't know if you got my pm or not, but from what you described, i think i have an answer.

the Xl-5 has 3 profile modes. If by chance, its in the Forward/brake mode, and the motor wires are reversed, then you will have reverse only.

Check at Traxxas' website for programming. Should fix the problem....

yes there are three modes

Profile selection: Sport Mode:
100% fwd, 100% brakes, 100% rev

Race Mode:
100% fwd, 100% brakes, no rev.

Training Mode:
50% fwd, 100% brakes, 50% rev.

Was the motor wacked it and now its fine, I should have remembered that when it was like that when i got it, All else failed wack it with a bigger hammer :)

Sounds to me like a brush seating problem on the closed-endbell stock motor??
