Hello, I am Sunny and I am addicted to speed... :D

As a little bit of history, I got into RC about a year ago when I was going through physical therapy due to a bad accident at work. It started of with a custom built rock crawler and now has grown to a fleet of 5 different cars/trucks (1 of which is m' lady's).

I am modifying a Traxxas Rustler that I had initially bought to bash with but ended up going for speed. Here is my Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/sunnyhoutx) page so that you can see the videos I've made of the car and speed runs so far.

The car pulls about 120 amps and 1550 Watts and should easily go into the 90s in its current state with proper gearing.

My build thread is here (http://www.ultimaterc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87772). And I am also getting some exposure from B4Maz's FasterstRC (http://fastestrc.blogspot.com/search/label/sunny%20waas) blog (many thanks to Nick!). I am currently running with B4Maz here in if Houston and hopefully will be joining in the fun this year at WFRCCC if it will be held this year.

Best regards,
Sunny

Looks cool.

You are going to have some competition for fastest rustler as my mate Matt is building one thats ultra fast.

Thanks guy!

I see Matt's going a with a Feigao/wanderer type motor. That is fundamentally different to what I am doing. I am trying to see how fast I can get the VXL motor to push the Rustler. I don't want to take too much away from the "Rustler-ness" of the set up. After I blow up the VXL, my plan is to go with motor like his or better.
