View Full Version : Beadlocks?
I've searched high and low, this forum as well as google... but how does the other side of beadlocks secure? I know one side has the plate and bolts, but what about the other side?

Both sides secure with a ring and bolts with all of the sets that I have seen.
I've googled images for them and see images like this:

Outside front drivers wheel, you can see the bolts. Inside passenger wheel, doesn't appear to be any. Weird.

It's the same deal as on the outside-facing edge. A series of screws secure a metal locking ring, which clamps the tire bead to the rim's main body.

btw, Proline hardware sucks heavily; I nearly ruined one of the tips on my Losi wrench with TiN-coated tips. I would suggest building them with different hardware, which I will do whenever I need to remove the existing tires on my beadlocks.
