I've got the 10.5 with a GTB ready to go in my new TA05R. I'm impatiently waiting for spring here in Canada, and want to go for a few test drives soon as I should be able to find some dry parking lots. Do brushless motors need any sort of break in or can I just giver from the get go?

Part of the "wonders of Brushless" is that they do not require 95% of the maintenance that brushed motors require.
Brushless does not need break in

That's what I was figuring. Thanks Adam.

Oh, there is one very important break-in procedure. BURY THE THROTTLE! :)

technically it would probably be a good idea to "burn in" the windings.. but havent heard any bad things from not doing it.
this lets the epoxy heat up and recool to kind of settle the windings.. its a good idea to do this to woofers.

What i would do is just make sure everything is seated, in case one of the bearings are not perfectly alligned from factory, so running just for a few seconds at low revs makes sure your bearings are good and it cant hurt anything...
Good luck,
