hey guys,
i know someone out there knows how to do this I'm sure.
I'm looking to hook up a horn or beeper up to my electric/esc/rx system.
I'm not even running a motor, it's for another project and this R/C system should do it, but i don't have a clue on how.
I'm would be running it off a 2S 7.4v lipo. but i'm open to run any battery needed.
trying to rig up a wireless beeper system, and sounds like this the best way to go without getting a delay.
appreciate any tips.
thx,

you want to hit the horn with your rc remote? in that case set up your horn/buzzer with a switch that is push to close the circuit and momentary and use a servo to push the switch, easiest thing I can think of but I'm tired.

I knew there was some bright fellows out there.
that relay looks like what i need and should do the task.
okay, what type of horn or beeper do i need to get ?
and if you have a link that would be VERY much appreciated.
it doesn't have to be very load, i'll be standing next to it.
sorry, i don't know anything about this stuff, i just know what i'm looking for. :)
We've been discussing it on RC Groups but nobody has come up with a simple solution.

I think pushing the button would give a delay, which we can't have.
i could be wrong though.
could a beeper be tied right into the ESC instead of the motor ?
no delay there...

If it doesn't have to actually be a buzzer, you could just put a motor on an ESC and listen for it to start running.
Otherwise, I'd just go to radio shack and find one that works on ~8 volts. Or heck, 12V for a car alarm or whatever. That picoswitch bypasses the radio system power supply so you can use whatever voltage you need. Plus, you'll have a separate rx pack for radio power.
