Latest from MIP (http://www.miponline.com). Wait 'til you feel the heft on these bad boys--they are BURLY. Read MIP's official press info below.

COVINA, CA - March, 2008 – Moore’s Ideal Products LLC (miponline.com), the
manufacturer of the top selling MIP RC car parts, tools, and accessories designed by racers for racers, announced today the release of it’s new stock replacement hop-ups to improve the handling of the increasingly popular radio controlled rock crawlers.

“After months of development, MIP is launching suspension products to handle the most prevalent problem for racers in the crawler market,” says Eustace Moore, Jr., President of Moore’s Ideal Products, LLC. “Top racers frustrated with failing stock crawler parts tested our MIP product and said ‘Finally – it didn’t break’ when their crawler performance got them farther in the race than ever before! We think extending the tremendously popular MIP CVDs to crawlers such as the Axial Scorpion will raise the already high level of competition with our latest products engineered to maximize the stability and performance of these scale model rock crawlers.”

MIP’s RC Hop-Ups Catalog is a great parts resource for RC Crawlers and RC Cars:

#08100 CVD™ FT&RR Set for Axial AX10 Scorpion (4) $59.00

#08101 C-Drive Spline Set for Axial AX10 Scorpion (2) $59.00

Sweet!
They should seriously offer those exactly for the center drives of 4wd monster trucks (savage, tmaxx, emaxx, etc.)

You don't need that style for those trucks since the trans and diffs always stay in the same relation. Now vehicles like the TXT-1 and Wheelie King could benefit from these.

The chassis do flex a bit on those. :)
Also, if anything is tweaked, and the driveshaft doesn't move, then nothing will fit properly.
They already use dogbones and universals, as well as telescoping driveshafts in the centers. This just looks to me like a MUCH more durable design.
Heck, if they came out with this type of shaft for my Stampede for diff-to-wheels, I'd probably buy it.

the punisher shafts at rc4wd look beefier to me, and their universal joint based, not ball & cup. imho

Agreed, but the Punishers are $80 a pair - I pre-ordered C-drives for $43 a pair. Always been very happy with MIP products, hopefully that wont change.

Do these fit the WK?
Nope. WK bones are longer.

RCP Crawlers (www.rcpcrawlers.com) carries MIP WK CVD's exclusively.
