Really enjoyed DGA-5 article in June MAN. I am building the smaller on from Henry Haffke's plans. This is a big step for an ARF guy. I am trying to get the new OS 56FS-a. I used to scratch build in the late 40s and early 50s. I will follow your build threads with great interest.

That plane (VK) was my first contact with R/C....saw it fly and decided U-Control wasn't for me anymore :)

When I was a kid, my father built the smaller version the VK Cherokee Babe. Think it had a 49 inch span and it was 30 size. Remember it was covered with silk and dope.
