how much are you buying it for? Can your emaxx take it (the name)means of transmission?

thats a well tried and tested set up. make sure you slap a fan on the MM on 14 cells and gear it to keep the MM happy.
what car is it going into by the way?

Which E-maxx do you have? The newer #3905 will handle that well. The older #3906 will eventually require some drive train upgrades to handle that motor. A complete upgrade would include 3.3 drive shafts, axle carriers, turnbuckles, steel idler gears and a stonger input shaft roll pin. The diffs at a minimum will need aluminum diff cups with a modified ring gear and 3 mm screws.
The drive can also be upgraded with steel dogbones or CVDs.

should be good but you might need to upgrade the tranny
