Axial's new shell looks particularl trick with its fold-in sides, and the orange ano is a big departure from the Scorp's green debut. I'd love to see Axial release a kit with the XC-1 shell and orange bits in the box.

Any information as to when Axial will be releasing the orange and red anodized links?

Well it is the first time I've had beadlocks and lets just say I don't know the proper way of mounting them. I tried it without glue at first, but it took half a dozen tries before I could fully seat the bead in between the ring and the wheel. I finally come up with a better solution and just used both glue and the beadlocks together and mounted the last wheel/tire in one shot.

i think the glue defeats the purpose of the whole beadlock plisophy

That was what I thought too, but because the width of the tire compared to the wheel was so large, it made seating the bead in between the wheel and the ring, next to impossible. The tire naturally wanted to push out of the clamping area. Unless I am missing some obvious technique that you guys know about that I don't.
