What's everyone? I'm down in Arizona this weekend covering the 2008 ROAR Truck Nationals which are being held at the world famous The Nitro Pit. This track design looks awesome thanks to its huge doubles, triples, straights, and zig zag sections. With over 120+ entries and 3 rounds per day, there is plenty of great racing action.

After day two at the ROAR Truck Nationals, racing is getting even more competitive. Thanks to the Arizona heat the track surface has turned into an extremely abrasive service. Most of the pro's are mounting up fresh tires after each qualifier because after each 10 minute qualifier they're practically bald. There are a few new items floating around in the pits as well.

The Drake is testing out a new TFT Chassis for the 8ight T along with a vented brake rotor as well.

It seems that CEN is also working on a new Monster truck which should be available soon. The name of the monster truck is the "Nemesis" and should be available in the next few months. The entire drive-line is made out of an extremely durable plastic. Making the drive-line out of plastic helps to cut out a drastic amount of weight allowing the truck to accelerate much quicker.

XRay's Josh Wheeler came all the way out from Missouri for the big race. Battling with some different setup's over the weekend, Josh was able to put it into the B-Main hoping to bump up for the big show.

This years ROAR Truck Nationals TQ for Truggy Class is none other then current 1/10th scale electric 4wd World Champion Team Odonnell and Team Associated driver Jared Tebo. Jared put in some smokin fast runs over the weekend which made it nearly impossible for anyone to keep up with him.

The Heli ride was awesome (thank you Ross Denny)!! I was expected the helicopter ride to really choppy but surprisingly is was incredibly smooth.

I'm not sure if rctvlive was there but there was the same guy that did a special on the Nitro Challenge from last year and he works for Fox sports. There were a few other magazines there and RCLive was there doing the up to date scoring for the event.

I know Scott Hughes was but I'm not sure about Tillman. The Team Associated guys were running them in there ST-RR's though. Looks like a good chassis.

That is the counterpart to the Odonnell Z01-B. Jared has been driving a prototype Odonnell for sometime now. I'm note sure when its slated for release.

Jeff, thanks for the compliments about my photography. I use a Canon 20D, Canon 70-200 2.8fL, and a Canon 20-35 4f, Canon 550EX flash, Canon 580EX, and a Nikon SB-26. For most of the shots I just used my 580EX flash to help with color saturation and filling the shadowed areas.
